What is SkinPen microneedling?
SkinPen microneedling is a medical-grade collagen induction treatment that uses ultra-fine needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin. This stimulates collagen and elastin production, improving texture, firmness and overall skin quality.
Is microneedling painful?
A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment to ensure comfort. Most clients describe the sensation as mild pressure or vibration rather than pain.
Is SkinPen better than standard microneedling devices?
SkinPen is FDA-cleared and clinically tested. It offers precise depth control and sterile, single-use needle cartridges for maximum safety and consistent results.
How long is the downtime?
Redness similar to a light sun flush is expected for 24–48 hours. Some clients may experience mild dryness or tightness for a few days as the skin renews. Most people return to normal activities the following day.
When will I see results?
Initial glow and smoothness may be visible within 7–10 days.
Collagen remodelling continues for 4–12 weeks, with progressive improvement in firmness and texture.
Can microneedling be combined with other treatments?
