Glass Skin Add On

Glass Skin Add-On Treatment | BioRePeel + Dermalux LED | Facestellar
Exclusive Add-On Treatment

The Glass
Skin Edit

BioRePeel chemical exfoliation meets Dermalux Tri-Wave LED therapy — a dual-action protocol that resurfaces, illuminates and repairs for skin that genuinely glows from within.

What is Glass Skin — and how do we get you there?

Glass skin is more than a trend. Originating in Korean beauty culture, it refers to skin so smooth, hydrated and luminous that it appears almost translucent — like a pane of polished glass. No texture, no dullness, no uneven tone. Just clarity.

At Facestellar, our Glass Skin Add-On pairs two of aesthetic medicine's most effective technologies: BioRePeel Cl3 FND, a next-generation biphasic chemical peel that works without the downtime of traditional resurfacing, and Dermalux Tri-Wave MD LED therapy, the gold-standard in photobiomodulation.

Together, they don't just treat the surface — they reprogram how your skin behaves, accelerating cell turnover, stimulating collagen, and flooding the dermis with the light energy it needs to regenerate.

Two Treatments. One Protocol.

The Science Behind the Glow

01

BioRePeel Cl3 FND

Biphasic Chemical Resurfacing

BioRePeel is an Italian-engineered TCA-based peel with a unique biphasic formula — a hydrophilic phase that delivers active ingredients deep into the dermis, and a lipophilic phase that protects the surface while it works. Unlike traditional peels, there is no visible peeling, no social downtime, and no seasonal restriction.

The 35% TCA concentration drives real results at the cellular level: exfoliating dead skin, stimulating fibroblast activity, and kickstarting collagen and elastin synthesis.

  • Deep exfoliation without visible peeling
  • Stimulates collagen and elastin production
  • Reduces pigmentation, fine lines and rough texture
  • No downtime — suitable year-round
  • Safe for most Fitzpatrick skin types

Dermalux Tri-Wave MD

LED Photobiomodulation

Dermalux Tri-Wave MD is the UK's leading CE-marked LED device — used in clinical, NHS and aesthetic settings for its proven photobiomodulation outcomes. Three wavelengths of light work simultaneously to target different layers of the skin and trigger distinct biological responses.

Red (633nm) stimulates collagen and accelerates healing. Near-infrared (830nm) penetrates to the dermis and hypodermis, reducing inflammation and driving cellular repair. Blue (415nm) addresses bacterial load and sebum regulation. Together, they make the skin an optimal environment for regeneration.

  • 633nm Red — collagen stimulation and repair
  • 830nm Near-Infrared — deep cellular regeneration
  • 415nm Blue — clarity and sebum balance
  • Zero downtime, deeply relaxing treatment
  • Clinically proven, CE-marked device
Why Combine Both

Better Together: The Synergy Effect

BioRePeel creates the ideal canvas — freshly exfoliated, receptive skin with active channels open for ingredient penetration and cellular communication. At this moment, the skin is primed to respond.

Applying Dermalux Tri-Wave LED immediately after amplifies every biological response. The light energy accelerates the fibroblast activity triggered by the peel, enhances collagen synthesis, and crucially — calms any transient post-peel inflammation, reducing redness and shortening recovery to near zero.

The result is compounding: each treatment makes the next more effective. A course of four to six sessions delivers the kind of skin transformation that takes months with either treatment alone.

This is why the Glass Skin Add-On isn't just two treatments back-to-back. It is a protocol — designed with sequencing, timing and synergy at its core.

Suitability

Built for Real Skin Concerns

The Glass Skin Add-On is clinically suited to a wide range of skin types and concerns. During your consultation, your practitioner will assess your Fitzpatrick type and skin history to confirm suitability and tailor the protocol.

Dull & Uneven Skin

Accelerated cell turnover and light stimulation restore radiance within the first session.

Fine Lines & Texture

TCA-driven fibroblast activity combined with LED collagen stimulation visibly smooths over a course.

Post-Acne Marks

Blue LED reduces bacterial load while the peel addresses post-inflammatory pigmentation.

Enlarged Pores

Deep exfoliation clears pore congestion; LED therapy tightens and refines the pore structure.

Dehydrated Skin

BioRePeel's hydrophilic phase delivers active hydrating ingredients while LED enhances barrier function.

Pre-Event Glow

A single session delivers immediate luminosity with no downtime — ideal before a significant occasion.

Frequently Asked

Is there any downtime after the Glass Skin treatment?

No. One of the key advantages of BioRePeel over traditional TCA peels is that it causes no visible flaking or social downtime. Mild pinkness may be present for a few hours post-treatment. You can return to your normal day immediately, though we recommend avoiding heavy exercise and heat for 24 hours.

How many sessions will I need?

A single session produces visible radiance and improved texture. For transformative, lasting results — particularly for pigmentation, scarring and fine lines — a course of four to six sessions spaced two to three weeks apart is recommended. Your practitioner will advise a personalised plan at consultation.

Can I add this onto any existing Facestellar treatment?

Yes — it is designed as an add-on. It pairs particularly well with our microneedling and skin booster treatments. Your practitioner will advise on optimal sequencing depending on your current treatment plan.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

BioRePeel is suitable for most skin types including sensitised skin, as the biphasic formula minimises surface trauma. The Dermalux LED component is anti-inflammatory and actively calms reactive skin. A full skin assessment at consultation will confirm your suitability.

What should I avoid before my appointment?

Avoid retinoids, AHA/BHA exfoliants and any active treatments for 48–72 hours before your session. Arrive with clean skin and no SPF if possible. Your practitioner will provide full pre-care guidance upon booking.

Can this be done in summer or on darker skin tones?

Yes — unlike traditional TCA peels, BioRePeel has no seasonal restriction and can be safely used across Fitzpatrick types I–VI with appropriate practitioner assessment. The Dermalux LED is safe for all skin tones and all seasons.
